Wheatbelt Therapy is based in Lake Grace, Western Australia. We service surrounding towns throughout the Wheatbelt. We are a mobile occupational therapy practice that conveniently travels to our clients. We carryout occupational therapy in familiar environments for our clients including their house, school, daycare etc. as that is where they are most comfortable.
We look at all our client's as a whole taking into account physical, emotional, social and their spiritual well-being.
We ensure that therapy is fun and has a focus on child-led play. Research has found that humans are more likely to engage if it is something that they are interested in doing therefore, better engagement equals better outcomes for our clients.
We acknowledge everyone is unique in their own way. We focus on our clients strengths and abilities rather than their deficits. By doing this we are always striving to empower our clients to continue to grow.
At Wheatbelt Therapy, we strive to ensure that our clients and their families feel included, connected and like they belong.
Neurodiversity is about how different brains function. At Wheatbelt Therapy we embrace and celebrate everyone.
